Assessment & Exams

What language are official exams and credentials issued in?
Official certification names, examinations, practical assessment records, scores and UKG official credential documents are controlled in English. Arabic and French website content is explanatory.
When can I start my examination?
Exam access opens only when eligibility, payment where required, the appointment access window and the approved assessment package are all ready. The candidate portal shows each access gate separately.
How are exam questions controlled?
Questions are mapped to scheme competency domains and a blueprint. Draft or SME-review items cannot enter production examinations. Only Active and Approved items are eligible, with version, rationale, source and review records retained.
What happens if I fail an assessment?
Attempt limits, retake conditions and any waiting period are scheme-specific. The candidate portal and scheme information show the applicable rules.

Certification

What is UKG professional certification?

How does the certification process work?
The normal workflow is application, identity and eligibility screening, controlled knowledge/ethics examination, practical competency assessment where required, independent certification decision, credential issue, verification and recertification/maintenance.
Who makes the final certification decision?
The final decision is controlled separately from assessment scoring. The decision maker must meet the required independence/impartiality controls and cannot simply be the practical assessor for the same case.

Eligibility

What documents may be required?
Depending on the scheme, candidates may be asked for a government identity document, CV/resume, education evidence, experience evidence, portfolio or other scheme-specific evidence. The exact requirements are shown before submission.
How long does application screening take?

No. Partner benefits, commercial arrangements or referral activity must remain independent from assessment results and certification decisions.

Payments

Can I cancel or request a refund?
Cancellation and refund rights depend on applicable law, the service stage and the agreed terms. See the current Refund & Cancellation Policy for the applicable process.

Privacy

Does UKG verify that a passport is genuine?
The platform can compare readable identity-document data with account information. That consistency check is not the same as authenticating a passport with the issuing government. Primary-source identity verification requires an appropriate external provider where used.
How long are candidate documents kept?
Retention is set by document category and purpose. Files can be scheduled for deletion after the relevant retention period, subject to justified legal/retention holds. The system keeps only the minimum audit information required after file deletion.

Support

How do I correct a mismatch in my application?
If automated screening cannot confidently match the submitted information, the application is moved to Evidence Required. Follow the candidate-portal request to correct account data or provide clearer evidence.
How do I report a problem with an exam or credential?
Use the support/contact channel and include the application or credential reference. Assessment integrity, appeals, complaints and credential-status issues are handled through controlled records.

Verification

How can an employer verify a UKG credential?
Use the public verification service with the credential ID or QR code. The verification record shows the credential status and relevant controlled details.
What happens if a credential is suspended, expired or revoked?
