UKG does not create a login-session cookie for ordinary anonymous visits to cacheable public pages. A strictly necessary session cookie named ukg_session is created only where a secure session is required, such as administration, candidate/partner portals, payment or membership flows, interactive forms, or an existing signed-in session.

Essential technologies

• ukg_session — temporary secure session cookie, HTTP-only and SameSite=Lax; used only where a session is required.
• ukg_cookie_pref — stores the visitor’s cookie preference for up to approximately six months.

Optional technologies

Analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies must not be activated unless they are actually configured, disclosed and used with any consent required by applicable law.

No hidden admin cookie on public pages

The legacy public-facing session name ukg_admin has been retired. Administrative sessions use the neutral platform session name and are started only when a session is required.

Google measurement and marketing services

Where enabled by UKG and permitted by your cookie choice, the website may use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure website use and manage optional tags. Google Ads measurement may also be enabled for advertising effectiveness. These optional services are not loaded until optional cookies are allowed through the website cookie controls. Search Console and site-verification connections are administrative tools and do not themselves require a visitor analytics cookie.

Your control

Optional analytics or marketing tags are not loaded before an optional-cookie preference is stored. You can withdraw or change that choice at any time using “Manage cookies” in the site footer. Essential security, session and preference storage cannot be disabled where required to provide the requested service.
