Governance purpose

United Knowledge Group Ltd operates professional personnel-certification activities through defined responsibilities, controlled schemes and traceable decisions. Governance controls are intended to protect competence, consistency, confidentiality, security and impartiality.

Impartiality

Commercial, financial, training, partnership or other interests must not improperly influence eligibility, assessment or certification decisions. Actual, potential or perceived conflicts are recorded and controlled. A person with a material conflict must not make the certification decision for that case.

Separation of functions

• Scheme design and maintenance.
• Eligibility and evidence review.
• Examination and practical assessment.
• Independent certification decision.
• Appeals and complaints review.
• Quality assurance, internal audit and corrective action.

Scheme governance

Every active certification scheme must define its purpose, target population, scope, competence requirements, eligibility, assessment strategy, decision rules, recertification requirements, security controls and change/review arrangements. Activation is blocked in the platform when mandatory scheme-governance evidence is incomplete.

Training relationship

Training or preparation may help a candidate develop competence, but completion of training does not guarantee certification. Assessment and certification decisions are governed by the applicable certification scheme.

Records and accountability

Material administrative actions, approvals, assessment results, decisions, conflicts, complaints, appeals and credential-status changes are retained as controlled records according to the applicable retention schedule and data-protection requirements.
