Before you apply

Use this free checklist to decide whether you are ready to submit a professional certification application. It is guidance only and does not guarantee eligibility or certification.

Identity & contact

• Your legal name and contact details are accurate.
• You can provide acceptable identity evidence if the active scheme requires it.

Professional evidence

• Your CV/résumé is current and consistent with your application.
• You can describe relevant work experience with dates, responsibilities and outcomes.
• You have supporting project, portfolio, employer or professional-development evidence where relevant.

Assessment readiness

• You understand that certification is based on assessment, not course attendance alone.
• You have reviewed the competency domains and assessment components for the active scheme.
• You understand the pass thresholds, attempt limits, integrity rules and practical-assessment requirements.

Recognition check

• If you need the credential for an employer, regulator, immigration or licensing process, you have checked the receiving organisation’s current rules first.
• UKG is an independent professional certification body. Each receiving organisation determines how it will use or recognise a credential under its own requirements.
