Scope
This policy applies to UKG personnel, contractors, subject-matter experts, assessors, decision-makers, administrators and candidates to the extent relevant to their role.
Mandatory controls
- Each scheme defines its certification period and recertification requirements.
- Recertification may consider continuing professional activity, CPD, ethics declarations, complaints history and updated assessment.
- Requirements are communicated before expiry.
- Approval extends validity only after the required review is complete.
- Expired credentials remain verifiable as expired unless withdrawn or revoked.

- Recertification request, evidence, review, decision and new expiry date.
Review and control
This controlled document is reviewed at least annually and whenever there is a material legal, scheme, technology, risk or accreditation change. The English master controls; translations must be reviewed after a material English change.
